Well, it’s that time of year again where hopefully, once the mad rush of getting ready for the Christmas holiday is out of the way, we can all have a bit of downtime with our families and friends and enjoy the festivities.
Fingers crossed this year will be a much different experience than it was last year with all the travel and social restrictions we were enduring at the time. It goes without saying that the pandemic is still upon us and we are still need to play our part, but there’s lots of optimism around for Christmas and the New Year, non-more so than right here in Waverley.
In this issue we have an update on Olive Lane and the Marriott Hotel from our magazine sponsor Harworth, and the Waverley Community Council. You will no doubt have seen some activity in preparing the ground works on both sites, and in our latest updates you will find out a bit more on the proposed timescales.
Wave has always been a community magazine, so it’s great that we can share news from residents and the activities they are involved in. Read on to find out about the Waverley Wasps Netball Club, and how we can plan for a calmer Christmas with our families, enjoying some much need downtime. To help with this there are also some great family (and adult) friendly Christmas films and music to enjoy that are slightly away from the norm that you may come across at this time of year in our latest reviews.
By the time you read this, the Waverley Advent Windows will have started and the community Christmas Tree will be up. Combining this with all the fantastic decorations we will see around the development it is sure to bring some light and joy during the dark winter nights!
Thanks to everyone who has got involved in this issue. If you would like any further info about featuring your business or your news in Wave Magazine, please drop us a line to email@example.com.
